Sustainable Innovation Starts with Our Products

We embed sustainability into product design through a comprehensive scoring system that evaluates materials, safety, manufacturing, and recyclability. This ensures every product meets measurable environmental and health standards.

Circular Economy

Reduced waste and improved manufacturing efficiency

We apply the circular economy concept at every stage of our business. From raw material sourcing to product design, manufacturing, packaging, and reuse, LATICRETE integrates principles of resource efficiency, durability, and waste minimization throughout its operations and value chain. Our approach replaces the traditional linear “take-make-dispose” model with a closed-loop system that extends product life and reduces environmental impact.

Transition to lower-carbon materials

We advance sustainability by using recycled materials, lower-carbon cements, and bio-based alternatives to reduce emissions and waste. As of December 2025, 22.9% of our North America cement purchases were lower carbon, with our Bethany, CT headquarters fully transitioned to these materials.

Lowering our carbon footprint by optimizing transportation

Millions of freight miles reduced through logistics optimization

We’re lowering our carbon footprint by optimizing transportation—improving load efficiency, refining routes, and moving bulk shipments from truck to rail. In 2025, these efforts eliminated 6 million truck miles, reducing emissions by 4,302 tCO₂e and advancing more sustainable operations.
