Impermeable Polyaspartic Concrete Floor Coating Systems for Food Service and Prep Areas

In the United States, the FDA and USDA require that all flooring systems within food service preparation areas be seamless and impermeable so as to not promote microbial growth. Furthermore, local building codes will require a perimeter cove base to stretch up the wall for a smooth transition between horizontal and vertical surfaces. LATICRETE works closely with architects to specify concrete coating systems for food service applications that meet national, state and municipal resinous flooring standards. All food service flooring from the LATICRETE® SPARTACOTE® line will incorporate traction additives for improved slip resistance.
